Tropic Sunsations

Music is in the air in Carroll County this Saturday, but not just any kind of music. We’re talking some steel drums and a homegrown brew of folk and punk. Wil and Erynn Krebs, known as Tropic Sunsations, will present a fun and interactive performance Saturday, April 1, at Minerva’s Roxy Theatre as part of its 2017 Family Arts Series. The duo will include some history of the steel drum, rhythms and lots of great music at its 7 p.m. show. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Hopefully, Mother Nature will look favorably on the events planned this weekend, which are very diverse. Santa returns for more Carroll County visits

Santa Claus (or one of his helpers) will be making several stops Saturday, Dec. 10, to spread the Christmas spirit in Carroll County. Malvern Alpha Sorosis Women’s Club is hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 10, 8-11 a.m., in the Malvern United Methodist Church educational building. Santa plans to visit with children in grades four and younger. He will be giving the children treat bags.
