Aultman WOW Visits Carroll County
Aultman's Working on Wellness (WOW) program will be making several stops in Carroll County this month. The First Visit will take place at Aultman Carrollton on Monday Feb. 9th from 10am to Noon. Kishman's IGA will host the Second Visit on Tuesday Feb. 10th from Noon to 2pm. The Third and Final Visit this month will take place at Dollar General on Saturday Feb. 28th from 10am to Noon. Stop by any or all of these visits to receive a free one-on-one health consultant with a Registered Nurse. Free health screenings will be offered, including Blood Pressure, Body Fat Percentage, Weight and Body Mass Index Checks and Carbon Monoxide Screnings. Free Nicotine gum samples will be available for tobacco users. In addition, WOW will provide health education, including information on the MyPlate initiative, which encourages indiviuals to fill half their plates with fruits and vegetables.

Sugarcreek Bluegrass Band
Sugar Creek Bluegrass is a young band from central Ohio made up of brothers and sisters who have been playing together since 2012. Sugar Creek plays traditional bluegrass music grounded in Bill Monroe, The Dillards, Earl Scruggs, and Doyle Lawson.

Aultman WOW Visits Carroll County
Aultman's Working On Wellness (WOW) Program will be making several stops in Carroll County this month. The First Visit will take place at Aultman Carrollton on Monday Jan. 12th from 10am-Noon. Kishman's IGA will host the Second Visit on Tuesday Jan. 13th from Noon-2pm. The Final Visit in January will take place at The Dollar General Market on Saturday Jan. 24th from 10am-Noon. Stop by any or all of these visits to receive a Free one on one health consultation with a Registered Nurse. Free health screenings will be offered, including Blood Pressure, Body Fat Percentage, Weight, and Body Mass Index Checks and Carbon Monoxide Screenings. Free nicotine gum samples will be available for tobacco users. Aultman Carrollton is located at 1020 Trump Road in Carrollton. Kishman's IGA is located at 202 E. Our Lady of Carroll County Knights of Columbus Council 15401 will sponsor a March for Life to coincide with the annual march in Washington D.C.  All those interested in marching will gather in the parish hall of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. No pre-registration is required. The route will proceed down Main Street to Public Square and then return to the OLM hall were the K of C will host a reception with light refreshments. Barring any technical problems, a live feed will be provided so participants may view events in Washington D.C. 6

3rd Annual Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce Chili Open and Warm-up Party
The Chili Open is a wintertime challenge- nine holes of artic played on shortened holes, depending on the depth of snow. The registration fee of $ 75 per golfer includes beer, hot dog, cocoa and Bailey's at the turn, one Winter Fantasy raffle ticket, and admission to the Warm-up Party. The Warm-up Party is open to all, with an admission fee of $ 20. It features chili, soup and bread cook-offs, a silent auction, ugly sweater contest, midget golf challenge, snow games, a mini lesson in the dances of the 1960's by DanceAbel Ballroom Studio, and more. The winners of the Winter Fantasy Raffle will be drawn at the end of the evening, with prizes of $700, $400, and $200. Tickets are $20 each and a maximum of 200 will be sold. They are available from the Chamber office and will be sold throught the 24th.
Sponsorship opprtunities are available from $50-$500.
