"12 Angry Men" at the Roxy Theatre

This classic courtroom drama is adapted from the 1954 CBS telecast by Reginald Rose and performed by area attorneys, the defense and the prosecution have rested and the jury is filing into the jury room to decide if a 19-year-old man is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open-and-shut case of murder soon becomes a mini-drama of each of the jurors’ prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and Walsh University Professor Tom Freeland will perform 1950s-era guitar music pre-show and during intermission.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, and can be reserved at 330-868-7979, or denise.freeland@minervachamber.org. All seating is general admission.

They each have distinct personalities that bring that fresh, warm sound of “country soul”. The Joseph Sisters performed at the Jamboree in the Hills in 2013 and cut a new CD in Nashville recently. The “Sisters” are definitely going somewhere, but first they are coming to The Bluebird!
