4th 1 - 5 p.m. Christmas Tour of Homes - Visit decorated homes and historical sites.  Start at our Arts Center and Gallery to shop and bid on adorned trees of all sizes.  Then travel from destination to destination to "ooo" and "aah" from the holiday spirit.  Tickets purchased in advance are $6 for members and $8 for non-members.  Tickets purchased the day of the tour are $10 for everyone.  Plan to enjoy a discounted meal at our featured restaurant.  Than you to those families and businesses who have graciously opened their doors for us.

McCook House grand re-opening - there will be a Living History Encampment at the McCook House to celebrate the half million dollar renovation that was completed on the house over the winter.  "A Small Town Goes to War" is the theme for the weekend for this step back in time.  The 61st Ohio Volunteer Infantry will be encamped in the yard of the McCook House while several Confederate Generals and some support troops will camp on the village square.  Saturday, Abraham Lincoln will give the "Call to Arms" and the Union Forces will gather and then present the colors to the President.  Also, on tap for the weekend: fashion show of period attire, 1st person presentations from living historians, drills, demonstrations, and an honor roll of all those who paid the ultimate price during the Civil War.  The McCook House was built in 1832 by Major Daniel McCook who along with his brother Dr. John McCook and their 14 sons all severed in the military prior to and during the Civil War, which is how they became known as the "Fighting McCooks".  The Museum is an Ohio Historical Society Site operated by the Carroll County Historical Society.  To learn more about the museum and the event check out www.carrollcountyohio.com

25th 7:00 p.m. Decorated Windows Reveal - Gather at the gazebo on the square.  Caroling will be led by WHAM.  Then, take this enchanted stroll through downtown Carrollton as the area merchants and business people reveal their beguiling animated window displays.  Displays will remain throughout the season to fill you with holiday cheer.  The evening will conclude with cookies and hot chocolate at the First Presbyterian Church.  Public Square, Carrollton  44615

The Eastern Ohio Farm Toys Show and Auction features sixty tables of new and old die cast tractor models and toy farm machinery.  Toy Dealers from three states display model farm toys for sale.  Food is available throughout the day and there are drawings for door prizes.  At 4:30pm the farm toy auction begins.  Items being auctioned will be discontinued, limited edition or collector edition toy tractors and equipment.  There will also be some trucks and construction toys.
