19th 3:45pm After School Beginners Drawing Class at the Carroll County Arts Center
for students ages 8-13. Materials needed are 10 color "broad tip" marker set, 12 color "fine tip" marker set, a 9x12 drawing or sketch book. It should be at least 60lb weight paper so the markers don't show through. A school supply box for easy access to markers is needed also. The instructor will provide soft lead pencils, erasers and other art materials for class use, along with larger sheets of drawing paper from time to time. There will be six 1 hour classes each Thursday until March 26th. The instructor is Lynda Rimke, she majored in Studio Art at Kent State and exhibits her work at the Arts Center.

Patti Dingler will be the instructor for the Kidz Klass. She will teach the kids how to twist balloons. They will learn how to make a mouse, a giraffe, a sword and a dog. Patti is a retired teacher who used to do clowning. Registration is necessary because Patti will have the balloons blown-up prior to the class. Children younger than third grade will be able to participate in this class if there is an adult to assist them. The fee of $5 can be paid the morning of the class.   6:30pm Minerva's Evening of Celtic Music and Dance
The Music of Ireland and Scotland as well as Irish step dancing, return to the Roxy Theatre stage in Minerva. THe Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce will offer an evening of Celtic music and dance, featuring tunes from traditional to contemporary performed on small pipes, Great Highland bagpipes, flute, fiddle, penny whistle, guitar and vocals. Performers will include Irish step dancers, musicians Tom Freeland, Amie Hill Fankhauser, Conor Freeland, and Sarah, Mike, and Logan Russo. One String Short will play traditional Irish dance tunes from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Refreshments, includeing Scottish shortbread, scones, and other Celtic treats will be for sale.Doors will open at 6:30pm and admission will be $5 per person with all proceeds benefiting improvements and programming at the Roxy, which is located at 120 N. The Carroll Aspiring Stage Theatrics ( The C.A.S.T.) Open House
Step behind the scenes or take to the stage. The grand celebration will showcase the group's new and remolded theater at 1128 Antigua Rd just 1.5 miles from downtown Carrollton
(former home of the Humane Society). "We've been refurbishing the building since February, and continue to complete restoration projects," says Dorothy Fritz, director. "Current and former members and their families, community volunteers and many others have worked countless hous to transform a dark and dated building into a spectacular live performance space. We're trilled to have an opportunity to expand for the community, and encourage new members to join the fun!"The C.A.S.T. is composed of volunteers of all ages. Class is being offered by MWCD and Division of Watercraft. Course content focuses on Ohio & Federal boating laws including, equipment requirements, operating laws, rules of the road, and buoy systems, plus topics of risk management, basic safety practices adn survival in emergencies. If you were born after 1981 and you operate a boat greater than 10 horsepower, Ohio law requires you to have a boater education course. This class is FREE! Interested participants MUST pre-register.

  7:30pm Hall of Fame Chorus at the Roxy Theatre
The Hall of Fame Chorus , an award-winning men's a cappella barbershop group, will perform at the Roxy Theatre. The chorus consists of approximately 25 members, as well as smaller ensembles, and will perform a wide variety of favorites, ranging from inspirational songs to patriotic tunes.
Admission is $8 each and children younger than 12 are admitted free. Tickets will be available at the Chamber
office beginning Monday, April 27, or at the door.
Refreshments will be available by donation and a basket raffle will benefit Harmony Foundation International, an oranization that promotes barbershop harmpony singing to today's youth.

Andy Schneider, better known as the Chicken Whisperer has become the go-to guy across the country
for anything chickens. The Events will feature a 5K obstacle run, 10 K Obstacle course relay team ( 4-man teams), 10K Road Race, 1 mile race, a 5K walk, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and a small obstacle course for children.
