On The Farm

On The Farm

Agriculture has been a primary business in Carroll County since it was founded nearly 200 years ago. It continues to drive the economy and serves as a great opportunity to teach others about the origin of their food.

Three alpaca farms welcome visitors to see their alpacas and to check out their alpaca-fiber products. Great Trail Farm re-introduced bison to Carroll County and visitors can see them, at a safe distance, during the Great Trail Festival.

Farmers Exchange is a cooperative, created by farmers, and provides a variety of farm-related products.

Manfull Orchards Farmers Market has been serving the community for seven generations and continues to offer fresh produce today.
