About the Chamber

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is an organization of leading business professionals in the Carroll County area whose vision lays the groundwork for our common economic goals.

Carroll County Ohio Chamber of Commerce

The chamber creates a unified voice for area business owners to accomplish economic, social and local goals with a backdrop of the scenic vistas and rolling hills of Ohio’s Appalachia.

With a strong work ethic, our community has always had a focus on agro-tourism and, most recently, on the oil and gas industry for the development of the Utica Shale. Our residents have a strong entrepreneurial spirit that is evident as small businesses are the backbone of our community.

The chamber acts as a catalyst for business professionals to work together for the common good of the community. It does this through sharing member news in its newsletter and social media, promotes networking opportunities during its luncheons and business after-hours and recognizes member investments into their business with the Golden Shovel Awards.

Carroll County is a great place to visit, live and work.

Economic Development

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce strives to help businesses become and stay successful.

One way we do this is by offering a loan of up to $25,000 to members who meet certain requirements and who will use the funds for property improvements or job creation. This allows local businesses the ability to invest in their company, while still investing in the community through job growth and physical improvements to the business.

The Chamber also provides opportunities for businesses to save money by receiving discounts for services.

Companies can receive discounts on their workers compensation fees through CareWorks Compensation. Office Max Online offers discounts on office supplies to chamber members.

The chamber also offers programs and trainings at discounted rates to chamber members. We also work closely with the Economic Development office in Carroll County to provide maximum benefits to businesses. To learn more, please call 330-627-4811.
